Elbow Pasta
Hot Dogs

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, chopped
4 stalks of celery, chopped
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 (28 oz) can petite diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 - 2 lbs ground beef or ground turkey
4 cups water
5 tablespoons chili powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
INSTRUCTIONS

In a large pot, heat one tablespoon olive oil.
Add garlic, onion and celery.
Saute until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add ground beef to pot and cook until brown.
Drain off any excess fat.
Stir in water, tomato paste, sauce, diced tomatoes, chili powder and salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 1 hour.
